The small is big for a normal human.
NOPE
yes they do.
Luigi’s is a great pace to eat at! The pizza and wings are really delicious and the service is pretty fast. The gelato was Ok but it tasted a little weird. The atmosphere is nice! There is an outside area with hammocks, tables, and chairs.
Really solid Pizza, and fairly priced. The building itself is very small and there is only indoor seating for maybe 12 people; however, there is an attached semi-outdoor seating area and a large Biergarten out back, so we didn’t have an issue finding seating. Had cannolis for desert, which were nothing to write home about but certainly nice enough to eat!
The pizza is delicious! There is an outdoor patio where you can eat and bring your own bottle. It’s right next to Axelrad’s patio as well which gives you the option to eat your pizza there while listening to live music on the weekend.
Best PIZZA around! The cutest place ever and the vibe was awesome. Hammocks everywhere, cutest trailer in the back, and live music. We will be back soon!!
I ordered a calzone and it was good! The dough was so soft!
The pizza wasn't crisp. It was a little soft. It wasn't as good as I've had in the past.
We went to Luigi‘s pizzeria, ordered a pie to watch the Astros game. The pizza was ready in about 45 minutes, which was understandable given the event, however the pizza was very cold. This was very disappointing because the party was anticipating enjoying this pizza but instead we were all left eating cold pizza. In all honesty I actually enjoyed the cold pizza, however the rest of the party did not. They did make remarks, like this pizza would be great one to warm it up when we get back home. I hope in the future other customers enjoy a hot pizza, what can be like me enjoy cold pizza. In all seriousness you shouldn’t have to wait an hour to get a pizza that is cold.
This should have been my 1st review, but hands down my favorite restaurant in Houston. I knew it back when they first opened and actually met Luigi (whose not Italian by the way, but Irish-but keep that between us). I mean way back when the sons and nephew ran the joint. It was the best pizza back then and while it's blown up as a late night good spot, the quality was a hair off, but still great. The backstory of the opening of Luigi's Midtown is a great story, full of love and passion-but I won't bore you with that. All you need to know is a the food is top tier from calzones, wings, sandwhiches, hand dipped gelato to pizza slices. I was a bit taken a back after haven't visited in several years, but it's just older, weirder but just as cool a vibe as I remember. I think I'll put it back on rotation with Axelrad next door for 2018.
Lots of parking and they have a bike rack and the service was not bad but the food was filling
Amazing food. Outdoor area is on point, can't complain about a thing
We ordered there several times. Pros:Pizza are good! Bad:Last time, I had to wait 30mn for my order that was supposed to be ready and this time I arrived on purpose 10mn late and been told aggressively to wait another 15mn. I left without food and they will not see me again.
People say this is probably one of the best PIZZA in town. The pizza feels really light but if will fill you up. The cost is pretty average. Ranging from 10-13$ I believe for a box (varies on topping). you can even build your own/ add your own toppings on an original based pizza and etc. They have subs, spaghetti, ice cream and etc. If you're in the area I would recommend giving it a try. you can order what ever you want, but I would suggest their pizza. That's what they're known for.
I order my food as I was leaving work and arrive there 5 minutes before. As I waited for my food my vehicle got broken into. This was not the restaurant faults, however, when I ask the. For the footage they where not surprised at all that the incident occurred. Apparently this has been going on and they failed to out of courtesy atleast let a client now to be aware of recent robberies..this would of alerted me to step out side and avoid losing all that I did tonight. Will definitely not return here are refer them for the lack of common sense.
Came here for lunch with a friend, left satisfied and full. We had the 16inch caprese pizza and the ingredients were excellent. The crust was nice and crisp, the slice also passed the flop test. Good place for a slice or pie.
Best pizza I had so far!! Fresh ingredients!! Good Job
This restaurant would get praised for their food hygiene. The foods are best for lunch and dinner. Because no one would like to have a heavy pizza slide in breakfast. There are so many different flavors of pizzas. Recommended for foodies nearby.
I love this place the portions are just right, not too greasy, the gelato is awesome with abundant flavors. Plus it is connected to a badass bar with great music and friendly atmosphere.
Great pizza! Loved that I got to create my own. I got Chicken, Spinach, Tomatoes and Red Onion. Delicious!!! Ingredients tasted fresh and crust was amazing. Price was cheap and portion was big. Can’t wait to go back and try their pasta too. The atmosphere was perfect to hang out and enjoy this must have pizza in Houston.
No doubts one of the best NY style pizzeria in houston. Cheese & margarita pizza taste so good. The location around is amazing as well for drinks and a coffee place is near by. So weather some one is for a slice of pizza and a drink this is the place to go.Tip: parking here might be a challenge specially in weekends.
Luigi's was a great stop for a family lunch while visiting Houston. We ordered a half The Meats and half Caprese and both were wonderful! The toppings were fresh, plentiful, and flavorful while the crust was perfectly thin and crispy. The service was friendly and timely with reasonable prices. We highly recommend Luigi's!
Best place I have ever worked and ate. Juliano, the assistant manager needs to go. He is horrid to employees and customers
This pizzaria has been in Houston for at least a decade, but they recently joined with Axel Rad's open outdoor area. It still has great pizza's. Indoor seating is very limited and it's become a bit trendy and crowded. But, the outdoor seating is covered and has large industrial fans to help cool guest. Guest may also take their pizza into the Axel Rad courtyard and Luigi's will take it to your courtyard table, if you ask.
Okay pizzaGood wingsGood service Fast service Fair price
Pizza taste like authentic New York style pizza. Felt like I was right smack in the middle of the Bronx! The atmosphere is matched by the taste. They were showing a movie on the evening I went and I had a pleasant time. Will definitely be back!!!!!
The employee who helped me was friendly and the food was quick. It was also much better than I anticipated! The pepperoni was nice and thin and folded up just like good pizza should. The seasonings and meats on the Mexicana were a great blend. And the seating outside was cute and plentiful. Definitely a spot to check out if you are in the Midtown area. There was also a stage and bar available outside.
Great pizza in a unique setting with all the hammocks. My favorite was the pepperoni pizza.
You can taste the freshness in their food
The best pizza place in Houston! Everthing on the menu is good. I love the outdoor area with a full bar and lots of seating. Great place to hang out on a warm night.
I've come here a few times and it's always good! I love getting the caprese pizza and the margherita pizza. Most recently, I had the large margherita pizza and shared it with two other people, and we still had 3 slices leftover! So for the price, this is a great deal! It's also nice that Axelrad and next door, so if you are craving some beer, you can take your pizza over and have both in their awesome outdoor area. I haven't had any of their other dishes (like pasta, wings), so I can't comment on those, but I definitely recommend getting pizza here.
I came in with a couple of friends the other day and the food was delectable. The environment was lovely, but the service was average. A couple hours later, three of us started to experience stomach pains which was a tremendous let down. For that reason, we will not be returning. :/
I’m sooooo in Love with this pizza place! The presentation, quality and the tase is everything! Prices are a little hiring than those typical pizza places but this is no typical pizza place it is ordinary! I don’t mind spending $$$$ to get good quality food!
Pizza was good, got a meatball pie, the "italian ice" isn't real Italian ice, uys just gellato, still tastes good tho, hammocks outside and huge area. Pretty fast service. Only one bathroom inside. Pretty cool decor, recently started School over here so i figured I'd check it out. Will attend again.
I loved the pizza here.. It was reccomended by some local friends... I will go there again.. The Crust is just awesome..crunchy and not soggy... always fresh and no stomach ache afterwards...
Quality pizza with awesome vibes. Honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had in Houston and one of my go to places whether it’s to stay or for takeout if I’m craving pizza. Great thing about this place is that it’s connected to Axelrad, and both have indoor/outdoor seating. So you can literally order your pizza and take your buzzer (to alert you when your order’s ready) with you to grab a drink next door! Have yet to have a bad experience here - would definitely recommend and return here myself :)#luigispizzeria #pizza #houston #htown #htx
The Pizza was great, I had a sausage and pepperoni on one half and supreme pizza on the other side. Luigi's Pizza is always great. No leftovers.
I started going here with older friends. We ate out family style, to keep costs down. Food always was tasty and fresh when we called ahead, and I never had an upset stomach because of their ingredients or seasonings. Parking is a real bear during prime time, though.
They completely forgot my order. I had to wait 50 minutes before I got fed up and asked the workers only to find out they completely forgot about my order.... There are at least 5 people who came after me, finished eating and left, all while I was kept to wait for a single slice. They didn't offer me any kind of compensation for wasting my time. I came to this place to get a quick lunch for a busy day but it would have been faster for me to go make my own pizza....
We loved the pizza!! We halved a supreme on one side and pepperoni pizza. It was yummy! The atmosphere is incredible. We hung around outside on the center patio. They have these beautiful hammocks where you can enjoy music and your food. Family and pet friendly. We will definitely be going back when in Houston 🍕😍
Decent pizza in Houston. Wouldn't say it's the greatest but it does offer a plethora of choices. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. There is an outdoor beer garden like sit down area which is nice if you want to enjoy your food outdoors.
This place is the real deal! Have their meatball sandwich which was very good everything from the bread to the marinara sauce to a meatballs themselves were delicious great size patio and will try their gelato sometime plenty of parking and a great little find. Give it a try as the owners are Italian which makes sense when you taste their food.
